About us

Silverwood jewellery was set up in 1997 by Galway native Paula O' Meara. Her wild sense of adventure, creativity, passion and many years of free spirited travel are all reflected in this highly crafted individual jewellery collection, some of which is designed and handmade here in Ireland in our state of the art Goldsmith's Workshop, more designed by us to be handmade in various exotic locations and all housed in our 4 beautiful retail outlets.

Silverwood's Jewellery carries the Irish Assay Office Hallmark  guaranteeing quality and fineness. We offer a wonderful selection of Celtic and Claddagh Jewellery should you wish to get in touch with your heritage or simply miss home! And for those of you who love the wildness and beauty of the West Coast our exclusive Wild Atlantic Way range can magic you spiritually, if not in person, to Ireland where you are always welcome either physically or virtually!

Sadly, in 2016 we lost Paula, our generous, energetic, independent and free spirited founder, to ovarian cancer but we continue her ethos, love and legacy for the next generation in this family run business. May she rest peacefully and dream of family, friends and jewellery.
